There are lots of things around analog distance sensor, distance sensor, and distance sensors are explained in this datasheet. You are commenting datasheeh your Twitter account. Dear SalesOompany is distribute Electronic parts in Iran market.
Parts: Analog distance sensors (Sharp GP2D12/2Y0A02) | Hackaday
We connected the output directly to a multimeter set to measure voltage. Try this one instead its cheaper: This graph shows the relationship between the output voltage of the GP2D12 and the distance of objects from the sensor datasheet page 3, figure 6.
For an exhaustive discussion of the various Sharp proximity sensors, check out the Sharp IR ranger information page at Arconame. The datasheet gives us info such as ultra I attached them to the datsheet of a roboquad and then used them I fried the original IR sensor since I didnt know what it was.
Datasheet of Sharp GP2D12/GP2D15 Distance Measuring Sensor
Cool stuff, handy for more complicated projects. Home About Contact Us. Sharp GP2D12 and 2Y0A02 infrared rangers output a voltage proportionate to the distance of an object from the sensor. Sorry wrong link- that one has a range finder on it, but its not dedicated.
We powered the sensors with a 5volt supply, as shown in the schematic above.
In the datasheet the reader can learn explanation such as converter, the voltage output, distances, and analog distance. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in: This datasheet contains things around circuit, voltage output, data, and analog. I used three of these little sharp sensors for my masters project, a light weight height sensor for helicopter UAVs.

Many things such as reflectance ratio, measurement, maximum ratings, design, and distance measuring are explained inside this datasheet. The Sharp GP2D12 is an analog distance sensor that uses infrared to detect an object between 10 cm and 80 cm away. K, so these things are great, but for those who want something digital, might I recomend these guys: I have used these sensors for a project of mine but found their accuracy even after calibration to be a bit off.
Lots of info such as digital converter, distance sensor, and distance are explained inside the datasheet. Please leave your suggestions in the comments. Email required Address never made public. Oompany is distribute Electronic parts in Iran market.
They basically took the same sharp tp2d12 and added their own really small pic microcontroller, and gave the things I2C out, or if you search around on their site they also have serial ones. They are slightly tricky to use though since the output voltage isnt linear. Proudly powered by WordPress. Have a look if you like: Datasehet is required to post comments.

The output is unreliable for extremely close objects, seen as the small hump between 5 and 10cm. This datasheet presents information related to measurement, distance measuring sensor, signal processing circuit, and distance measuring.
